Centennial Prayer
Faithful God, to Whom the memory and the spirit of our ancestors are
eternally present, we thank you for all your blessings which allow us today
to celebrate and praise You in our Diocese.
We thank you for having been the reason for our history and for our human and spiritual growth. You have always watched over us as our companion and our protector; reaching out to the poor, supporting the afflicted and guiding all who seek you with sincere hearts.
We give you thanks for always being present in our lives, for helping us to move forward despite everything, for giving us new courage, for bringing us together with someone like You, who gives us hope and comfort in your name.
Father, we entrust to You our present and our future. We ask You to support us through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, through Jesus Your Son and through Mary, patroness of our Diocese. May we go forth together and be faithful to You now and forever.
